Privacy Policy

CoupleZ ("we," "us," or "our") provides a private shared space for couples. This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Data we collect
- Your Sign in with Apple identifier and any name you choose to share.
- Onboarding preferences, time zone, language, and relationship information you enter.
- Couple membership, invite codes, answers, check-ins, moods, and notes.
- Photos and captions you choose to post to your shared space.
- Subscription status and transaction metadata supplied by Apple; we do not receive your payment-card number.
- A device token for requested notifications and technical data needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use data
We use data to authenticate you, connect partners, display shared content, deliver requested notifications, manage subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain CoupleZ's security and reliability.
How we share data
We use Apple for sign-in, purchases, and notifications, and Cloudflare for hosting, database, storage, and security. These providers process data only to deliver their services. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Visibility within your couple
Answers, check-ins, photos, and captions posted to a couple space may be visible to the other partner. Only share content you have the right and permission to share. Widgets may display content on a device screen.
Retention and deletion
We retain data while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and meet legal obligations. You can delete your account in Profile → Delete Account. We will delete the account and associated content as described in the app and revoke Apple authorization when available. Limited backups or security records may remain temporarily where required for integrity, fraud prevention, or law.
Security and international processing
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and credential protections. No system is completely secure. Service providers may process data in other countries subject to appropriate safeguards.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. You can also change notification permission in iOS and cancel subscriptions through the App Store.
Children
CoupleZ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.
